The 18th edition of the award ceremony is coming up soon and we look forward to welcoming you as of 18:30 on 17 February 2025 in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels.

We have an exciting programme lined up to mark the beginning of a new chapter in EU policymaking...

• - Keynote speeches by European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament's Transport and Tourism Committee Sophia Kircher, and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU 
• - Our Rail Champion Award, introduced by CER Chair Andreas Matthä (CEO of ÖBB) 
• - A Lifetime Achievement Award, introduced by UNIFE Chair Michael Peter (CEO of Siemens Mobility) 
• - A special Accomplishment Award, introduced by Magda Kopczyńska, European Commission Director General for Mobility and Transport

It will be an opportunity to recognise the dedicated work that has shaped rail for today and look ahead to the efforts still needed to realise the sector’s untapped potential for tomorrow.

The ceremony will be followed by our joint CER & UNIFE Reception, where we look forward to a convivial gathering of our community.
